LSD FAQ
What is Microdosing LSD?
Microdosing is the practice of taking a sub-perceptual amount of acid in order to ease anxiety, lift mood, and improve your mental health.
How much should I take?
Your dosage is determined by you and your body — with LSD it can be anywhere from 10–20 micrograms (mcg). Once you know your dosage, you'll take 1 microdose on your "on" days, preferably around the same time each day.
Can I take more than one a day?
You can take more at the same time, but doing more throughout the day won't give you the same results — and with LSD you risk building tolerance fast.
Do I take them every day?
No — LSD has its own rhythm. The most common schedule is 1 day on, 2 days off (one dose, then a 48-hour reset). Tolerance to LSD builds very quickly, so the off days are not optional — they're what keeps the microdose working.
How long till I feel something?
Well, you shouldn't feel much of anything. But onset is around 30–60 minutes.
How long does it last?
LSD stays active in our body for 8–12 hours. That's why morning is the sweet spot — so it's wrapped up well before bed.
Will I have to take these forever?
Not at all! Many people 'feel' when it's time to take a break or stop completely. A lot of folks do a 4–8 week cycle, then pause to integrate.
Will this show up on a drug test?
LSD can be detected in a urine, blood, and hair test. Some of these tests, like a urine or blood test, detect LSD and other substances for hours or days, while hair tests may be able to detect LSD for months after last use. However, these are all estimates. The time it takes LSD to leave an individual’s system depends on a number of factors.
How Long Does LSD Stay in Your Body?
The time it takes for LSD to leave an individual’s body and the timeframe during which it is detectable depends on a number of factors. Some tests can detect the drug for hours, others for days, and still others for months. When it comes to individuals, variables include:
Height and weight.
Age.
Genetics.
Body fat content.
Amount taken.
Route of administration.
Drug quality.
Metabolism rate.
Health of the liver and kidneys.
Hydration.
LSD is not commonly tested for on standard drug tests. That being said, it is possible to specifically test for LSD use via urine, blood, and hair samples.
In many LSD-positive urine tests, the metabolite 2-oxo-3-hydroxy-LSD may be found at higher levels than LSD itself. It can be detected for a longer period of time than LSD as well.
What happens if I forget to take it?
You can start and stop anytime you feel called to do so. Just pick back up on your next scheduled "on" day — no need to double up.
